This weekend we are at the Highclere Horse Trials : )

We are selling our lovely little tubs of ice cream, and the weather looks divine, so come and find us!

..but it’s always time for an ice cream!

Our Great Taste award winning Laverstoke Park Farm Bufffalo Milk Ice cream is in our Ice Cream Parlours at two of Londons most prestigious stores.

Our parlour in Harvey Nicols, you can find the full range of ice cream is available in tubs and cones, plus delicious ice cream milkshakes.

But if you want something a bit more substantial, head over to Selfridges you will also find sundaes, waffles and ice cream floats being served at our Ice Cream Parlour in the Food Garden Café restaurant on the fourth floor.

The photos above were taken for the photo menu, and I can personally vouch that all of them taste divine! Ice Cream for all weathers!

and I know I have blogged about them before, but they are also a winner!

Our Wild Boar and Pork Burgers, which are available to buy in some branches of Waitrose, and from our Farm Shop, and they are delish!

Don’t forget, if you are around our neck of the woods you can visit the farm shop Tuesday to Friday we are open 9am to 5.30pm, Saturday 9am to 4pm and on Sundays 10am to 3pm.

Our chickens as I have blogged about before, are quite the pampered bird, as are all our animals, and it makes them taste all the better : )

Many top restaurants have our chickens, and they are also one of the most problems items to buy from the online shop, but don’t just believe me, read what the winner of the Professional BBQ Championship has to say on them,

they go on, don’t they! Tonight we used one of our 1 star Great Taste Award winners, the smoked streaky bacon : )

I have to say I use the bacon an awful lot as an ingredient in meals because it has such a good flavour, from soups to tonights comfort food tea, Cauliflower Cheese : ) It was very yummy, and hit the spot!

I would say I’m a bit of an expert on our 2 star winner!

Our Coffee Ice Cream is the best coffee ice cream in the world! Well honestly that is my opinion, it was the first Laverstoke Park ice cream I fell in love with, just blew my mind with the depth of flavour, and the intensity of the coffee, it really is an espresso in an ice cream!

And it is the only ice cream that I have to limit the amount I eat, I often have eyes bigger than my stomach, and this come under that, it is so rich, that really two scoops are enough! Try some, and get the natural and chocolate to go with it, perfect combination!

another very easy meal, and great for the whole family,

and of course, cottage pie has to be served with peas!

Also a bit like Spaghetti Bolognese it is a meal that you can throw in whatever you have to hand, but ours always has carrots, onion, little bit of garlic, a spoonful of worcestershire sauce and a dollop of dry sherry and tomato puree! Ooops and of course the beef mince and mash!

And another thing, it is always better if you can cook it, and then warm it through the following day : )

For pudding, ice cream, but more about that tomorrow!

as I mentioned yesterday we are big winners at this years Great Taste Awards! And the most impressive is the 3 star award for the Buffalo Fillet.

We are absolutely delighted that our Buffalo Fillet has been awarded the highest accolade from the Great Taste Awards, the awards are organised by the Guild of Fine Food and are Oscars of the food world!
350 judges spent two months tasting the 6021 products entered into the awards, so we are especially proud of our Buffalo’s for coming out tops!

This is what we had earlier, as a treat, and it was divine! Honestly I was really impressed by the flavour and the juicyness of it, and I do like my steak!

Our buffalo enjoy near all year round fresh air on rich pastures and are reared in accordance with our very high standards. The quality of the meat that is tender, succulent, considerably lower in fat and full of flavour. So why don’t you try some today!

Over the next few weeks I will also look at some of the other winners, mmmm coffee ice cream!!
